- Alfacar is 7 km near the capital. It has a 914 m. average altitude, submontane of the Alfaguara, part of the natural preserve Sierra de Huetor.
- Despite its superficial dryness, it is rich in water, which makes its springs being well-known (Fuente Grande).
- In summer you have dry heat and for the attitude, it will refresh very well at night.
- Alfacar is also famous for the good bread. in part baked in Arabian wood oven. But we make our bio-wholemeal bread ourselves and advise you to find biological foodstuffs.
- Ideal starting point to visit the lots of historic sites and all the sightseeing's, not only in Granada and its vicinity, also in cities like Cordoba or Ronda.
- It is adequate for nature tourism, either active or contemplative, integrated in a rural environment, wonderful area for walks and sketching.
- The distance to Sierra Nevada (ski-region: 38 km) or the Costa del Sol (Sea: 68 km).
